Congressman Joseph Crowley’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Sidetracks on March 13
(Courtesy Sunnyside Chamber site) Lily Gavin of Dazies Restaurant and Sidetracks Restaurant owner Andrew Breslin abet Congressman Joe Crowley in his quest for a second career in music. The event, Congressman Crowley’s St. Patrick’s Day party held at Sidetracks, has grown from a small gathering of Crowley’s friends to a yearly highlight of the community, where residents hobnob with the political heavyweights of Queens County. Attendees didn’t have to be Irish to join in the Irish step dancing, the fine live music, or traditional Irish fare.
